The brush is not rotating on my vacuum, what would cause this?
ANSWER:
If the brush is not rotating, please remove the
access plate and inspect the brush and brush belt. If the brush belt is broken
or stretched, it will need to be replaced.
If something gets caught in the brush and prohibits it
from turning, it may cause the brush belt to slip off. If the brush belt has
slipped off but appears to be intact, you can replace it by looping it over the
motor shaft. The BISSELL PowerGlide Platinum and PowerTrak vacuums use a Style 7
belt. Style 7 belts can be purchased at most large retailers and can also be
ordered from BISSELL Consumer Services by calling 03-963-3030,
